Dr. Ryan Cole, an Idaho- and Washington-licensed pathologist and Idaho Central District Health board member, was charged by the Washington Medical Commission in September 2022 with unprofessional conduct for public statements about COVID-19 vaccines, mRNA technology, and for prescribing ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine via telehealth. In 2023 the Commission issued a stipulated order restricting his practice. The Idaho Board of Medicine opened a parallel investigation.
