Dr. Robert Malone, an mRNA-vaccine researcher, was permanently suspended from Twitter on December 29, 2021 for tweets about COVID-19 vaccine safety, days before appearing on the Joe Rogan Experience. LinkedIn had previously removed his account in June 2021. Malone's Twitter account was reinstated after Elon Musk's acquisition in November 2022.
