Full report

Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, director of the medical ethics program at UC Irvine School of Medicine, filed suit in August 2021 challenging the University of California's COVID-19 vaccine mandate, arguing his prior infection provided immunity comparable to vaccination. The Central District of California denied his preliminary injunction. UCI placed him on unpaid leave, then terminated him in 2022. Kheriaty joined the Ethics and Public Policy Center as a fellow. He also became a plaintiff in Missouri v. Biden.
